About.
A product designer, twelve years in, currently in Denver.
I'm a product designer leading the team at Zero Homes in Denver. We're building software for the people who build houses, a problem space that touches operations, construction, finance, and physical reality, and rarely sits still.
Before Zero Homes, twelve years of work across consumer apps and enterprise systems: onboarding and cash-back experiences at Ibotta, mortgage tools, design systems, and contract engagements for teams shipping their first real product.
My roots are in graphic design, so I pay attention to type, rhythm, and the small details of a screen. Lately I've been interested in how AI is changing the craft: shortening some loops, deepening others, and knowing when it should stay out of the way. I've led work that integrates AI into user-facing experiences in human-first ways, and I use it behind the scenes for speed and sharper first passes.
I teach UX/UI at the university level (most recently San Diego State), mentor designers early in their careers, and take on side projects when the shape of something is interesting enough.
In Denver with my wife and our dog, Orzo, with a first kid on the way. I mountain bike the trails here when the weather cooperates, I'm working on my Italian citizenship, and after a decade of renting I'm figuring out which wrench goes with which problem as a new homeowner.
